🌟 Step Into Leadership

It takes a village to make the magic happen—and at Cadence Park, that village is you. Our PTSA includes elected board members, appointed board leaders, non-board roles, and program chairs who work together to shape an inclusive, joyful, and well-run school experience.

 

🗳️ Elected Board Members

  • President

    • Leads and coordinates the work of the executive board, presides at meetings, and serves as the official representative of the PTSA.

  • Executive Vice President (EVP)

    • Supports the president and steps in when the president is unavailable, helping oversee key initiatives.

  • Treasurer

    • Manages all financial records, oversees the budget, and ensures accurate, transparent handling of funds.

  • Secretary

    • Records minutes of all meetings, manages official correspondence, and maintains key organizational records.

  • VP of Programs

    • Oversees the planning and execution of PTSA‑sponsored programs and school events.

  • VP of Ways and Means

    • Leads fundraising efforts and works with committees to support financial goals and events.

  • VP of Membership

    • Builds and sustains an engaged membership, promotes membership benefits, and tracks participation.

  • VP of Communications

    • Coordinates internal and external communications, including newsletters, social platforms, and website content.

  • VP of Spirit Wear

    • Manages the design, sale, and distribution of school spirit wear to promote community identity.

  • Financial Secretary

    • Keeps detailed records of funds received, deposits, and financial reporting in coordination with the treasurer.

  • Financial Reviewer

    • Reviews financial records for accuracy and compliance with PTSA practices and bylaws.

  • Historian

    • Documents and preserves the PTSA’s activities and accomplishments through photos, records, and displays, and tracks volunteer hours for annual reporting.

🤝 Appointed Board Members

  • Parliamentarian

    • Advises on parliamentary procedure and ensures meetings follow bylaws and rules.

  • Communications Associate

    • Assists the VP Communications with outreach, updates, and message consistency.

  • Athletics Director

    • Oversees all Cadence Park participation in Tournament of Champions sports by building teams, recruiting coaches, and coordinating communication between TOC, coaches, and families.

  • Lunch & LEAP Coordinator (Lunchtime Activities)

    • Organizes enrichment activities during lunch and recess to enrich the student experience.

  • Outreach Coordinator

    • Focuses on community engagement, inclusion, and expanding family connection within the PTSA.

  • Room Parent Coordinator

    • Organizes and supports room parents to help with classroom events and communication.

  • Volunteer Coordinator

    • Partners with committee chairs to create volunteer sign-up forms for all PTSA programs and events, and collaborates with the Historian to track and report volunteer hours.

  • Yearbook Sales Coordinator

    • Oversees yearbook ordering, sales, and distribution logistics.

🧭 Appointed Non-Board Positions

  • IPSF Ambassador

    • Acts as the liaison between Cadence Park and the Irvine Public Schools Foundation (IPSF), sharing news, promoting IPSF programs, and supporting district-wide fundraising efforts like IPSF Giving Day.

  • Dad’s Club Chair

    • Leads efforts to engage father figures in campus life by planning community-building events, coordinating volunteers, and helping dads get involved in fun and meaningful ways throughout the school year.

  • ACE Coordinators

    • Oversee the after-school ACE enrichment program by coordinating logistics with instructors, monitoring on-site sessions, and communicating with families to ensure classes run smoothly and safely.
