πŸŽ‰ YOU DID IT, PUMA FAMILIES! πŸŽ‰ The "Together We're Golden" fall fundraiser was absolutely amazing, raising over $128,000 and officially completing fundraising efforts for the entire year!

Thanks to all the incredibly generous families and supportive community sponsors, your PTSA can now deliver all the programs the students love, including an epic obstacle course day coming in the spring! Cadence Park School students are so fortunate to have a community that shows up in such big ways for them. Every single dollar truly makes magic happen for all the children!

While the formal fundraiser has wrapped up, families can continue supporting the students throughout the year with donations or sponsorships. Questions? Please reach out to Admin@CadenceParkPTSA.org.

Look out for all the wonderful things the students will experience this year, thanks to this awesome community!

Huge thanks to our incredible committee who made this event possible!

Our school staff needs your help!

With construction underway on the new building, the cafeteria and recess areas are now physically separated—meaning they can’t be monitored at the same time. As a result, Cadence Park is looking for five parent volunteers who can each commit to one day a week from now until the end of the semester to assist during 1st–3rd grade lunch.

Here’s what you need to know:

πŸ•’ Time Commitment: 11:25 AM – 12:05 PM

πŸ“… Frequency: Just one consistent day per week (Monday–Friday slots available)

πŸ‘©‍🏫 Support: Assistant Principal Ms. Harvey will train you hands-on during your first shift and will be present during lunch to support and answer questions.

This is not a PTSA-run program—it’s a direct request from school administration, and a small but meaningful way to support both staff and students during this busy season of growth and transition.

πŸ‘‰ If you can commit to a weekly lunchtime shift, please sign up here.

Thank you for stepping in where it counts most. πŸ’›

Wow, Pumas — what an incredible night! πŸ’œπŸŽƒβœ¨

Thank you to the 400+ students, families, and friends who came out to celebrate together at our Cadence Park Fall Family Event! The campus was glowing with excitement as we enjoyed 9 fantastic Trunk-or-Treat cars, creative face painting, and a super fun photo booth — all brought to life thanks to our wonderful sponsors, Ronnie and Cyrena! πŸ“ΈπŸŒŸ

The energy was off the charts during our K-Pop Demon Hunters sing-along — light sticks waving, voices shining, smiles everywhere! πŸŽ€πŸ’«  And of course… the food! We loved sharing Korean ramen snacks and savoring delicious Korean-style hot dogs from Smile Hot Dog, along with our forever favorite The Family Pizza! πŸ•πŸŒ

This magical evening was made possible thanks to the hard work and heart of our Fall Family Event Committee, led by Ami — please join us in giving them a HUGE round of applause! πŸ‘πŸ’›

But most of all — thank YOU to our students, parents, and community members for showing up with joy, spirit, and Puma pride. Nights like this remind us just how special it is to be part of the Cadence Park family — where we lift each other up, celebrate together, and make memories that last. πŸΎπŸ’œ

What a spooky surprise leading into Halloween week! πŸ‘» The weekend before, our amazing room parents snuck onto campus and transformed the outside of every classroom with festive decorations, cobwebs, pumpkins, and Halloween magic.

When teachers and students arrived Monday, October 27, they were greeted with boo-tiful doorways, spooky scenes, and plenty of smiles. The creativity and school spirit were off the charts — from friendly ghosts to ghoulishly fun themes, each classroom brought its own Halloween flair!

Then on Friday, October 31, every class celebrated with their own Halloween Party, organized by our incredible teachers and room parents. These joyful celebrations wouldn’t have been possible without the many parent volunteers who donated supplies, prepped activities, and showed up to help make the day special for our students.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring the Halloween spirit to life—our campus was truly spellbinding! πŸ’œπŸ•ΈοΈπŸŽƒ

What a weekend of exciting matches, great teamwork, and Puma pride! Our Cadence Park volleyball teams gave it their all at this year’s VolleyFest, showing heart, hustle, and school spirit every step of the way.

  • Our 5th/6th Grade Girls Team, led by Coach Villanueva, played with determination and teamwork throughout pool play, fighting for every point and finishing strong.

  • The 5th/6th Grade Co-ed Team, led by Coach Warmin, went undefeated in pool play and advanced to the bracket round, where they battled through a close final set, just falling short 15–13.

  • Our 7th/8th Grade Co-ed Team, also led by Coach Warmin, played two competitive matches in pool play, showcasing great effort, teamwork, and spirit from start to finish.

For many of our players, this was their first time playing volleyball, making their performance and teamwork even more impressive.

A huge thank you to our coaches Karen Villanueva and Sheena Warmin, and assistant coaches Ian Castillo and Nhung Truong—none of this is possible without our incredible volunteer coaches! And a big thank you to our players and families for your dedication, energy, and Puma pride. You made this year’s VolleyFest one to remember! πŸ’™ 🐾

Our Pumas have already completed three amazing Run Club sessions this fall, and we are SO proud of their energy, commitment, and pure joy each morning! Every week at 7:15am, our students show up bright and early to move their bodies, play fun games, challenge themselves, and start the day with confidence and smiles. Starting in November, we are back to our usual schedule of every Friday so come join us!

Run Club is all about healthy habits and healthy hearts — not just running! Each week, we take on a nutrition challenge, learn simple ways to care for our bodies, and support one another in becoming stronger, happier versions of ourselves. The best part? It is laid-back, welcoming, and open to ALL Pumas (K–8) — students can join anytime, no pressure, no commitment required. πŸ’™

✨ Not too late to join!
If your child is curious, wants to have fun in the morning, or enjoys being active with friends, we would love to see them next Friday! Due to construction on the blacktop, our Run Club sessions are currently being held inside the gym — same time, same fun, just bring comfy shoes and a good attitude!

πŸŽ… Fall Season Highlight: Run for a Claus!
We’ll wrap up the fall season with the super-fun Run for a Claus race, where Pumas and/or parents can choose to run the 1-mile or the 5K together! It’s always a wonderful way to celebrate hard work, friendship, and community spirit.

πŸ“Œ Race Registration Reminder:
Prices will increase again soon on 11/21, so be sure to register at https://runsignup.com/Race/CA/Irvine/RunforaClaus if you’d like to participate!
When signing up, please remember to:
βœ… Select Cadence Park School as your team
βœ… Use the code KROC5OFF to save if you’ll be running with your child

And as always — scholarships are available. Please feel completely welcome to reach out to one of your coaches who will make sure to guide you with complete confidentiality.

We can’t wait to see even more smiling, eager faces on the blacktop next Friday morning. It’s never too late to join in—and there’s no better way to start the day than with friends, games, and LOTS of Puma spirit! πŸΎπŸ’™βœ¨

Thank you, Cadence Park Pumas, for an incredible Red Ribbon Week 2025!

This year's national theme, “Life is a Puzzle – Solve It with Healthy Choices,” reminded us that each decision we make is a piece that shapes who we become. Throughout the week, our students, staff, and families came together to celebrate healthy habits, positive decision-making, and a strong commitment to living drug-free.

From Mindful Monday wearing pajamas to care for our mental health, to showing teamwork during Together Tuesday by twinning with a friend, showing off our favorite sports teams or workout gear on Wellness Wednesday, and practicing thoughtful choices by wearing a fun hat on Think It Through Thursday, our Pumas truly showed what it means to LEAP with purpose and heart. We wrapped up the week with Feel Good Friday, celebrating kindness, support, and the joy that comes from making choices that help us feel our best.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to:

  • Our teachers and staff, who guided conversations, encouraged reflection, and modeled healthy choices every day.

  • Our students, whose enthusiasm, creativity, and thoughtful participation made the themes come to life.

  • Our families, who supported and reinforced these important messages at home.

Your participation — from dress-up days to classroom discussions — didn’t just make this week fun and engaging, it demonstrated our shared commitment to fostering a school environment where healthy habits are celebrated, our children feel supported, and saying no to harmful substances is not only encouraged but expected and embraced.

Together, we are building a strong, caring, and drug-free community for our students — now and for their future.

Thank you, Pumas, for showing that when we come together, each piece of the puzzle fits just right.

Cadence Park will be closed for Fall Break from November 24th–28th, giving our students, staff, and families a well-earned week to recharge and reconnect.

We hope this time off offers everyone a chance to pause, reflect, and appreciate the things that matter most.

Here at the PTSA, we’re especially grateful—for our incredible families, our hardworking and passionate staff, and the amazing volunteers who show up time and again to make Cadence Park such a special place to learn and grow.

Wishing you all a restful and gratitude-filled Fall Break. πŸ’›

At Cadence Park, we believe every student should be able to participate—no matter what. That’s why the PTSA offers scholarships for any of our programs that have a cost, including tournament fees and even yearbook.

All of our programs are free to join, but if fees ever get in the way, we’re here to help. Just fill out our quick, confidential Scholarship Form and we’ll take care of the rest.
