Together with school administration, we’ll explore:

  • What’s currently being done on campus to support student mental health
  • How parents can help promote empathy and emotional wellness at home
  • Ways we can create safe, supportive spaces to problem-solve as a community

Let’s start the new year by working together to foster a culture of care, understanding, and kindness—because mental health matters, and we all have a role to play.

Join us on Friday, January 30th, from 5–7 p.m. for one of Cadence Park’s most beloved traditions: International Night!

Travel the world in just one evening, as we celebrate the incredible cultures that make up our vibrant school community.

This unforgettable night will be filled with traditions, customs, and flavors from across the globe. Whether you're exploring booths, enjoying live performances, or connecting with friends and neighbors, International Night promises something for everyone!

Bring your family and friends for an evening of cultural celebration you won’t want to miss!

Help make International Night an even greater success by sharing your culture with the community. Here are three ways to participate:

1. Join the International Children's Parade:

The International Children's Parade is back and better than ever! Students and parents can show their cultural pride by wearing traditional attire and participating in this lively and colorful procession.

  • Wearing traditional clothing is optional but encouraged.
  • Sign up in advance so we can ensure there are enough flags and country representations for everyone.

2. Host a Country Booth:

We invite families to help make this event a vibrant celebration of cultures from around the world by hosting a country booth. Share your heritage, traditions, food, music, clothing, games, or fun facts with our community!

3. Be a Performer:

We are inviting families to bring International Night to life with exciting cultural performances!  Whether you're performing solo, with your family, or as part of a group, your energy and creativity will help make this night unforgettable! All experience levels are welcome - just bring your passion and pride!

Sign up here to join the celebration! Together, we’ll create an unforgettable experience that highlights the rich diversity of Cadence Park.

Lastly, none of this would be possible without the support of our amazing volunteers. We encourage you to consider donating a few hours of your time to help with planning, decorating, or assisting on the event day. Your contribution is greatly appreciated!

The Reflections Art Program is a National PTA arts competition that invites students to explore their creativity and share their voice through original works of art. Submissions are judged based on interpretation of theme, creativity, and technique—and this year’s theme, “I Belong,” inspired deeply moving work from our Pumas.

Students compete at the school level, with the opportunity to advance to Council, District, State, and even National levels. We’re thrilled to announce that one of our students has already advanced to the Fourth District level, after earning 1st place at both the school and Council levels!

And a huge shoutout to our amazing Reflections Chair, Shetal Nair, for leading this program with care, encouragement, and heart.

We are so proud of every student who participated. Thank you for sharing your stories and helping us all remember what it means to belong. 💙

We are so proud of our incredible Puma Run Club participants who joined us throughout the fall season, waking up early, bringing so much energy, and committing to moving their bodies, having fun, and building healthy habits together. Week after week, our Pumas brought positive energy, teamwork, and determination, and it has been inspiring to see how much they’ve grown, both in confidence and in strength.

This season, our journey led us to one of our favorite traditions, Run for a Claus! Our Pumas joined thousands of other runners to ring in the holidays and kick off winter break in festive style. Every single runner arrived eager, focused, and ready to give their best effort, and they truly did.

But more than race day itself, we celebrate the hard work, consistency, and commitment our runners showed all season long. The real victory came from showing up, supporting one another, and taking meaningful steps toward becoming healthier versions of themselves, together.

That said… our Pumas also had an amazing race day! Their training and determination shined during both the 1-mile and 5K events, with standout performances including:

⭐ PRC Fastest 1-Mile Time: 7:48 by Aneesh Bhat
⭐ PRC Fastest 5K Time: 26:16 by Connor Cho

We are so proud of every Puma who ran, jogged, walked, cheered, encouraged a teammate, or challenged themselves in a new way. You represented Cadence Park with heart, spirit, and perseverance.

A huge thank-you also goes to our Puma parents and families for your enthusiasm, encouragement, and support of Run Club throughout the fall season. Your partnership and positivity help make this program such a meaningful experience for our students.

We can’t wait to see our runners, and welcome new ones, when we return for our Spring Run Club season on Jan 23rd. Until then, keep moving, keep smiling, and keep living those healthy habits! 🐾💙

Cadence Park teams competed in the Harvest Cup on November 22–23, gaining valuable experience and representing our community with great energy and sportsmanship. While none of the Pumas teams advanced out of pool play, the players showed effort, teamwork, and resilience throughout the weekend and most importantly, had a lot of fun doing it.

The Harvest Cup provided important takeaways as we prepare for upcoming competitions. With changes coming ahead for the Tournament of Champions, we’re excited about the growth and progress on the horizon. We’re already looking forward to an even stronger showing at next year’s Harvest Cup!

A huge thank you to our amazing coaches: William Belport, Cassandra Holzhauer, Mark Deppe, Shaily Gupta, Cliff Hattar, Adam Lorenzo, Joanna Mijes, Shahram Khanzadeh and Nazli Farahanchi.

Excitement is building at Cadence Park as our Puma teams prepare for the upcoming Winter Bowl Tournament! Player registration has officially closed, and team rosters are now set. Any players who were unable to register before the deadline will unfortunately not be able to participate in this year’s tournament.

We’re proud to share that, with the exception of 8th grade boys, every grade level will have a Puma team competing in this fun, one-day event, taking place on January 24th. Our players have been working hard in preparation, and the focus is on teamwork, effort, and enjoying the game.

  • 3rd/4th Grade Girls - Coached by Jon and Cassie Holzhauer
  • 3rd Grade Boys - Coached by Mike and Lisa Duncan
  • 4th Grade Boys - Coached by Shannon Petluck
  • 5th/6th Grade Girls - Coached by Jason Tedesco and Isaiah Olsen
  • 5th Grade Boys - Coached by Amari Beverly
  • 6th Grade Boys - Coached by Ian Castillo and Darius Burton
  • 7th/8th Grade Girls - Coached by Sophia Jordan, Lea Gutierrez, and Nina Brooke
  • 7th Grade Boys - Coached by Geno Villanueva and Kevin Crum

We invite all families, friends, and classmates to come out, show your school spirit, and cheer on the Pumas as they take the field. Your support means everything to our athletes and helps make the day special for everyone involved.

Let’s stay positive, bring the energy, and support our Pumas as they represent Cadence Park at the Winter Bowl!

Go Pumas! 🐾💙

From October through April, our Lunch & LEAP program turns lunch and recess into something extra special—think colorful chalk art, brain-teasing board games, creative crafts, and high-energy field games. This program is all about sparking creativity, building connections, and creating those “remember when?” school moments our kids will treasure. Bonus: volunteers usually walk away smiling just as big as the students do!

We had a wonderful fall semester with Lunch & LEAP—thanks to our incredible volunteers. Now we’re gearing up for another great season, and we’d love for you to join the fun!

Lunch & LEAP runs every other Wednesday and is a great way to make a quick, meaningful impact during the school day. Whether you love games, crafts, or just hanging out with some awesome kids, there’s a place for you here.
