PROGRAMS
At Cadence Park, our PTSA programs are designed to do more than fill a calendar—they are built to create connection, spark joy, support student growth, and strengthen our entire school community.
Thanks to the generosity of our families, we are able to offer a wide range of programs that support students academically, socially, and emotionally—while also creating meaningful opportunities for families to engage in school life.
Back to School Aloha (August)
Our signature kickoff event, Back to School Aloha welcomes families back to campus for an evening of connection, play, and community. It’s a chance to reconnect with friends, meet new families, and explore the many PTSA programs, clubs, and events planned for the year—helping everyone get plugged in and excited for what’s ahead.
Pumajama Storytime (September, December, February)
Designed especially for our PK–3rd grade students, Pumajama Storytime is a cozy, joy-filled evening that nurtures a love of reading and community. Our little Pumas arrive in their pajamas, bringing their favorite stuffed animals and blankets, and settle in to enjoy stories read by special guest readers. The evening wraps up with milk and cookies, and often a book exchange, making it a simple yet meaningful tradition for our youngest learners and their families.
Reflections (October)
Reflections is a National PTA arts competition that encourages students to explore their creativity and share their unique voice through original works of art. Submissions are judged on interpretation of the theme, creativity, and technique, with students advancing from the school level to Council, District, State, and even National competitions.

Families transform their car trunks into creative displays while handing out candy to students dressed in their most imaginative costumes. The celebration continues as everyone gathers on the school field for a movie under the stars, creating a shared experience that blends excitement with cozy community time. With a photo booth, face painting, food trucks, and free giveaways,
the night is full of energy, connection, and a little bit of Halloween magic.
